That Handy Bloke was off to Alkimos as a customer told me she had been waiting 3 months for her son to install some curtain rods and sheers and couldn't wait any longer. She gave me a short brief as to what was required and I quoted her on the phone. Now this type of installation is quite time consuming as I needed to not only get the height of the sheers correct but also ensure the brick dust didn't tarnish the sheers themselves. So, after a few hours of levelling all 3 patio and side windows,(the smallest window was over 2.2mtrs long), installing and levelling the rods, threading the clips to the sheers and hanging the S Fold drop sheers, That Handy Bloke, your local community Handy Man had completed yet another job for a very satisfied client

That Handy Bloke was off to Clarkson for a regular customer this week. This 3.6mtr x 3.6mtr Pergola was installed and secured to the ground. Luckily the weather was a little cooler so installation was a little more comfortable.

A regular client in Quinn's Rocks asked if I could install a shade over her existing pond. Of Course That Handy Man can...The sail cloth was secured using only the best high quality stainless steel turn buckles, pad eyes and carabiners. Richard, That Handy Bloke, has a great tip when installing these, its to add a length of power cord to the shade sail eyelets, this gives the sail cloth a bungee effect in strong winds vastly lowering the load bearing on the anchor points. The overall finished effect worked perfectly giving the pond 3/4 shade all day during our hot summer period.

Yes, at first glance its just a picture of a door and frame..no big issue there, however, this particular client contacted That Handy Bloke to ask for help... there simply was no door at all on this side garage entry point. Using my vast array of Handy Man skills I added a new exterior door and locking stainless steel knob set, then to finish off, give both the door and frame a lick of Solar guard exterior paint. The customer was so impressed that I was asked to return to replace another exterior door that had started to rot, of course I obliged and Richard, That Handy Bloke completed another job with a happy customer in Burns Beach

Off to Hocking in this post... That Handy Bloke had a message sent direct from the website asking if I could install a pool table in Hocking. I enquired to what table top the pool table he purchased was as there are 2 types, 25mm MDF top ready assembled with cloth or the other more complicated option, slate. This particular pool table installation was MDF. So after asking my advise as to where this should be located out of the two preferred locations the client opted for inside the pool area as this had much more room to swing the pool cues around. Most of the assembly took place under the gazebo, then once almost completed, located to the preferred location. The customer was very happy with the end result and awaiting the heavy duty cover to arrive to protect his investment. He also asked if I could install his score board and cue rack on an adjacent wall, which, of course being a handy man, I obliged
